PRENATAL TO 3RD GRADE (P-3) PARTNERS
Partnerships with local school districts and community organizations are fulfilling our vision of preparing children and their families for success in school; reinforcing Educare’s message that children are born learning and the importance of re-envisioning a public education system that begins at birth.

P-3 CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS
PSESD has owned and operated Heritage Head Start (Formerly Highline Head Start) for over 20 years in the White Center Community. Full day (8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) classes offer high quality Head Start services with a cultural heritage curriculum. Classrooms include multilingual language supports and Dual Language Classrooms (Spanish/English).
Free for eligible families. Our neighborhood programs work together to enroll three and four-year- old children for school. Once complete, your child’s application places them on the waiting list. Once selected for enrollment, children are placed at sites based on address, family need and available openings. Children must be three or four by August 31 in order to start school in September.
Early Learning, Early Intervention, Therapeutic Head Start
Chidlhaven serves children up to six years of age, and their families. Science tells us that we must support cognitive, social, and emotional development simultaneously in order to prepare children for school and for life. Our early learning programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers provide daily care and pre-K instruction with a social-emotional focus to help children with highly individualized needs succeed.
---
If your child is experiencing behavioral issues or developmental delays, they may qualify for one of Childhaven’s early learning programs.
