PRENATAL TO 3RD GRADE (P-3) PARTNERS

Partnerships with local school districts and community organizations are fulfilling our vision of preparing children and their families for success in school; reinforcing Educare’s message that children are born learning and the importance of re-envisioning a public education system that begins at birth.

Educare Seattle partners with the White Center Community Development Association, The Washington Association of Head Start and ECEAP, and five other Educare schools across the country to offer a one year leadership, advocacy and peer-to-peer training program for parents in White Center with children less than eight years old. Families lead and develop skills in the basics of community organizing, and advocacy and how to effectively engage other parents in their early learning programs and greater communities to create change.

Chidlhaven serves children up to six years of age, and their families. Science tells us that we must support cognitive, social, and emotional development simultaneously in order to prepare children for school and for life. Our early learning programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers provide daily care and pre-K instruction with a social-emotional focus to help children with highly individualized needs succeed.
